John Campbell, Senior Minister:
John Campbell moved to Sylvania, Ohio in August 2003 to begin his ministry with Boulevard Church of Christ. John attended the Cincinnati Bible College (now Cincinnati Christian University) and was graduated from CBC in 1983 with a Bachelors Degree in English and Bible. While attending CBC John met and married his wife Joni. John and Joni have two children Lindsey and Tyler.
John’s involvement in ministry is the central focus of his life. Both John and Joni grew up in Christian homes that helped shape their desire and talents to serve Christ. Joni comes from the “snowbelt’ growing up in Andover, Ohio. John was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio.
In addition to serving as our Senior Minister, John also invests his time in other church-related opportunities such as serving on the Board of Trustees at Cincinnati Christian University, speaking to various groups, consulting with other churches, and coaching baseball at a local Christian high school. He has also been involved with community projects, civic boards and services. John enjoys family, sports, and his 1983 Oldsmobile.

Phil Dale, Administrative Minister:
Phil Dale is the Administrative Minister of Boulevard Church. Phil has attended Boulevard since 1964. During that time he worshiped here because his girl friend (his wife of 38 years, Kathy) also attended (the Lord does work in mysterious ways!). He accepted the Lord on October 15, 1972.
Prior to coming on staff at Boulevard, Phil worked as a Quality Engineer at Champion Spark Plug Co. for 20 years. After leaving Champion, he was a co-owner of a small manufacturing company in Fremont, OH. Phil graduated from the University of Toledo in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. His responsibilities as the Administrative Minister involve overseeing the business activities of the church and serving as a liaison with the Stewardship Ministry. Phil is responsible for planning activities for the Trailblazers, our very active older adult ministry. Phil has also served as an Elder since November 1981.
Phil and Kathy have two sons, Rob and Chris and seven grandchildren. Phil serves his community as the Chaplain and a Firefighter with the Bedford Township Fire Department.
Phil would like to thank his parents for giving him birth, his wife for always reminding him to sit down and shut up in such a loving way, his children for always thinking of him when they need a "ringer" for their softball team, his grandchildren for knowing just the right time for giving grandpa a hug and Teresa Welch for just being Teresa. He is indeed Blessed!

Bob Heppner, Worship Minister:
Bob Heppner joined our staff on November 1, 2006 bringing over 20 years of experience in ministry to Boulevard. He leads in worship ministry at Boulevard, helping us to worship the Lord together as a congregation each Sunday morning, while helping us worship throughout the week. Also Bob teaches the 20-something Bible school class that meets on Sunday mornings.
Bob is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College and has continued his education at Huntington College.
Bob is married to his wife Joey and they have twin girls, Makena and Schyler.

Teresa Welch, Director of Children’s and Women’s Ministries:
Teresa Welch brings thirteen plus years of children’s ministry experience to the Boulevard Church family. Teresa oversees all aspects of children’s ministry from nursery through sixth grade. Teresa uses her musical abilities to lead our children’s music ministry as well as contribute to our adult worship times. Teresa also directs our women’s ministry, which provides Bible studies, retreats and fellowship for the women of our church.
Teresa is an Ohio native, born in Newark, but spent most of her childhood in Monmouth, Illinois. She attended college at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri and has continued her education while serving in churches. She has earned a Master of Arts in Christian Ministries and a Master of Divinity and completed her Doctor of Ministry in April of 2007 with a final project titled: Guiding Children into the Arms of Jesus.
Teresa enjoys watching movies, reading mystery novels, is hooked (along with other church members) on the TV shows Lost and 24 and challending the kids in Wii games.

Justin Price is our easy going, fun loving and always-unpredictable minister to jr. high and high school students. Justin has worked as a student minister since 2003 while serving churches in Florida before making Sylvania his home. He is a gifted speaker and worship leader. One of Justin’s passions is spending time developing one-on-one relationships with students.
Justin is married to Megan who is currently studying nursing at Lourdes College. Justin is a student as well, taking classes at Lourdes College.
A native Floridian Justin has come to love Northwest Ohio winters, well… not really! Justin does love working with teens and seeing them mature in their faith.

Kathy joined our staff in October 2004. She considers it one of the best decisions she ever made! As she has gotten to know the Boulevard Staff and Family, she feels very blessed to be a part of it!
Kathy resides in Petersburg, MICHIGAN, the GREAT lake state (which most refer to the upper peninsula as "God's Country"), along with her husband Larry, children Kurt and Lena, and step-daughter Kelli.
Kathy and Larry are very involved in Young Life of Monroe County and have served on the adult committee for the past five years. They continue to believe in the mission of Young Life in bringing high school students, who may have never heard of the love of Jesus Christ, to a loving relationship with Him. They even experienced camp for the first time last summer at Lake Champion in New York!
